Mid-State Composite Squadron 239 is one of the newest units within Group 5 of Pennsylvania Wing, Civil Air Patrol.  This Squadron meets every Tuesday night at Mid-State Regional Airport, near Philipsburg, PA.  All are welcome to attend our weekly meetings to learn more about Civil Air Patrol and to investigate joining our unit.  Meetings run from 7 to 9 pm.  Directions to our meeting place can be found here

CAP Provides its members with unique opportunities to participate in search and rescue operations, aerospace education, and much more.  Senior members (age 18 and above) work to advance in professional development programs.  Cadets (ages 12-18) complete achievements to increase their grade.  All members have the opportunities to participate in local, state and national activities.  For detailed information about Civil Air Patrol in general, please check out this Prospective Member Packet
