Mid-State Composite Squadron 239 is one of the newest units within Group 5 of Pennsylvania Wing, Civil Air Patrol. This Squadron meets the 1st, 2nd & 4th Wednesday night of the month at the YMCA in Philipsburg, PA. The 3rd Thursday of the month the squadron goes over to State College to attend The Nittany Composite Squadron 338 meeting. All are welcome to attend our weekly meetings to learn more about Civil Air Patrol and to investigate joining our unit. Meetings run from 7 to 9 pm. Directions to our meeting place can be found here. CAP Provides its members with unique opportunities to participate in search and rescue operations, aerospace education, and much more. Senior members (age 18 and above) work to advance in professional development programs. Cadets (ages 12-18) complete achievements to increase their grade.
